Looking Back at What Duke Startup Challenge Winners Are Doing Now

Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week: Grand Finale champions for 2016 Challenge will be decided Wednesday

Where are they now? Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week, Duke I&E Initiative catalogs some of the many successful entrepreneurs who participated in the Duke Startup Challenge and have since continued their careers in entrepreneurship.

Several new Startup Challenge winners will be crowned in the 2016 Grande Finale at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Geneen Auditorium at the Fuqua School of Business.

Teams have been competing for 11 months, across three rounds of judging. The Grand Prize winner will take home $50,000 for their entry, but teams will be competing for other prizes as well, including the Biomedical Engineering Prize, the Clean Energy Prize and the Borchardt Prize, endowed by alumnus David Cummings.
