Parking Advisory: New Access Schedule for Blue Zone
Iron gate entrance to begin automatic use
Beginning May 11, Parking and Transportation Services will adjust access to Blue Zone parking lots through the iron gate entrance at the intersection of Wannamaker Drive and Duke University Road.
Upgrades have allowed for the gates to be operated with remote scheduling. Starting next week, the gate will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Sunday. During athletic games and special events, the gate will be open and staffed.
When the iron gate is closed, students and employees with permits can enter and exit the Blue Zone at any time through automatic parking gates at the Towerview Road roundabout at Wannamaker Drive and Towerview.
