Students at Duke Kunshan University made the short journey to Shanghai Saturday night to meet Duke alumnus Billy King, general manager of the Brooklyn Nets (pictured), and to take in the Nets exhibition game.
Their outing was arranged by Duke alumnus John Rash, who is DKU’s student activities manager, and they were the guests of Duke alumnus George Land, senior vice president of programming and production for the NBA in China.
Duke also was represented on the court as well by Mason Plumlee, power forward for the Nets. The Nets defeated the Sacramento Kings 97-95.
