Duke hosts grand opening event for new space
Members of the Duke community gathered at the Duke Campus Farm Sept. 13 to celebrate the official opening of the agricultural space's new 1,700-square-feet pavilion.
Above, Tallman Trask, Duke's executive vice president, marked the occasion by cutting a sweet potato vine instead of a ribbon. He was joined by Sarah Parsons, left, a former farm fellow, Emily McGinty, current farm fellow, and Emily Sloss, right, the farm's manager.The new pavilion is open to students, faculty and staff, who can use the space for meetings, retreats and more.
