Name: Cathy LewisPosition: Administrative assistant, Trinity College's Office of the Dean of Academic AffairsYears at Duke: 7

What I do at Duke: I assist Trinity College's dean of academic affairs, Lee Baker, with special projects or anything he needs help with. I assist with Trinity's certificate programs, Cardea Fellows, Honor Council , but the biggest task I handle is administering funds to promote Graduation with Distinction . We have about $500,000 we put toward undergraduate research through grants and endowments, and I work with grant administrators from Duke departments to administer funding.

If I had $5 million, I would: I'd first pay off debt for myself and my family, then buy a house. I'd want to have a fun vacation, too. I'd like to go back to Puerto Rico, where my husband and I went for our honeymoon. I love the food, beaches and weather there. With any left over money, I'd put it in the bank and come up with a sensible way to save.

My first ever job: Working as a waitress at the Pizza Inn on North Duke Street in Durham. When I turned 16, I started working there and kept it as my high school job until I left for college and UNC.

If someone wanted to start a conversation with me they should ask me about: NFL football, particularly the Carolina Panthers. They're my favorite team. I don't really care for college football because I think the NFL is more exciting. I was really happy when Time Warner Cable started carrying the NFL Network.

Also, I am a huge fan of the TV show, LOST. In fact, I created my own reading/movie/play lists to go along with the show featuring books the characters read on the show, philosophers who had characters named after them, movies and music that were mentioned and more.

The best advice I ever received: You have to look out for yourself and advocate for yourself because no one else is going to do it for you. If you want something you have to ask for it.

When I'm not at work, I like to: Watch TV and read. I like watching shows like "Survivor," "Grey's Anatomy," "Justified" and shows on the History Channel. I use my DVR very efficiently. With the new baby, I've been reading a lot of parenting books. I've been meaning to read "The Hunger Games" books, too.

Something most people don't know about me: I was in my college marching band. I played the flute and handled a flag with the color guard, too.
