Textbook Store, Gothic Bookshop to Temporarily Close
Renovations will take place over coming months
Due to renovations, temporary changes are coming to Duke's Textbook Store and Gothic Bookshop this week.
Beginning Feb. 1, books will be moved from the Textbook Store to its off-campus distribution center on Hillsborough Road. However, books will be able to be purchased and delivered to the Textbook Store's service desk, which will remain in the lower level of the Bryan Center store. Students and employees will also be able to request books for purchase at the service desk.
On Feb. 2, the Gothic Bookshop will temporarily close but will also still take special orders for books. Duke community members can order books by emailing gothic@duke.edu or calling (919) 684-3986. Book orders will be able to be picked up at the Textbook Store's service desk.
The Gothic will continue to host activities such as book signings and book clubs in other campus locations.
Both the Textbook Store and Gothic Bookshop are expected to reopen this summer.
