Parking/Traffic Advisory For April 20 Reunions Weekend

Allow extra time to park and get around Duke's campus April 20-22

Duke Parking and Transportation Services is encouraging visitors and members of the Duke community to allow extra time to park and get around campus April 20-22 due to Reunions Weekend.

Duke will not close campus roads but will set aside parking for visitors, faculty, staff and Duke alumni. Parking attendants will be on campus to assist with flow of traffic and answer questions. Members of the public and Duke community are encouraged to review parking locations to plan accordingly over the weekend.

Special events and tours begin the morning of Friday, April 20. In addition, the 2012 ACC women's lacrosse championship is April 20, 21 and 23 at Koskinen Stadium.

The following Reunions Weekend events on Saturday, April 21, may cause additional congestion and limited parking:

  • 11 a.m. - Highlight Event: President Richard H. Brodhead in Page Auditorium.
  • 2 p.m. - Filmmaker John Sayles will receive the Duke LEAF Award in the Reynolds Theater in the Bryan Center.
  • 7 p.m. - The Reunions Gala will take place at the Grand Festival Tent near Wallace Wade Stadium (at the corner of Science Drive and Cameron Boulevard.; across the street from the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club).
