Where At Duke Is The Blue Devil?

Flat Blue Devil gets a HealthCheck

Even though he may be lacking a pulse, Flat Blue Devil stopped by the Employee Occupational Health and Wellness office to get a HealthCheck, a 20-minute visit with a nurse to check cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, height, weight, and body mass index.

Bentha Wilson, a nurse with LIVE FOR LIFE, Duke's employee wellness program, is helping Flat Blue Devil check his blood pressure.

In addition to visiting the EOHW office, faculty and staff can stop by any of LIVE FOR LIFE's upcoming Health Fairs for a HealthCheck as well as:

  • Free flu shots (with valid DukeCard)
  • Free eye screenings by the Duke Eye Center (at Searle Center and Durham Regional)
  • Information from Duke Health and community representatives
  • Door prizes
  • Visit the Health Fair website for more information.
