First outdoor race for students promotes wellness

Six teams participated in the day long competition that was divided into three rounds and featured a variety of group and individual activities, including running, biking, kayaking, swimming, dodge ball, tug of war, a craze maze and a gladiator joust.

The event is part of Duke's Fitness Adventure Challenge (DFAC) Month and was put on by the Duke Outpost, Campus Recreation, and the Health, Physical Education, and Wellness departments.
