“I am particularly in awe of all the pieces that have to come together to ensure that these scholars are not only financially supported but are also able to thrive over the next four years. These scholarships are made possible through generous philanthropic contributions and facilitated by the faculty directors and staff in the Office of Undergraduate Education who take great care to help scholars develop transformative relationships, engage meaningfully in their various communities, and undergo wonderful experiences that enrich the scholars’ time at Duke.”
