Fresh from a first headlining tour after which they signed with Sony Music, the Cary-based alt-pop group wrapped up the 2022 concert series last Thursday.

The largest crowd of this summer’s Music in the Gardens stood and sang along to every song, turning the show into a joyful dance party.

The concerts were staged by Duke Performances, which is holding another free concert series at American Tobacco Amphitheater downtown – the grassy area beneath the Lucky Strike water tower – every Wednesday in September.

The schedule kicks off with local Latin dance band Orquesta K’che (including free salsa lessons) on Sept. 7, followed by jazz prodigy Samara Joy on Sept. 14, rising country music artist Caitlyn Smith on Sept. 21 and guitar phenom Zach Person on Sept. 28. The concerts are free and no reservations are required. Find more details here.
