2022 First Day of Classes

A new academic year began with hustle and bustle. Here‘s a collection of some of the scenes.

“I’m excited for a good year. We’re very excited for the basketball season. We’re already planning on tenting. So we were just literally discussing what our plans are for that. So that’s going to be a lot of fun.” - Nicole Hunter, senior (Class of 2023)

Incoming Black students met with faculty and staff at a convocation and welcome reception where students learned about resources and networks that would be valuable to them during their Duke experience.
