Transit and Parking Adjustments for Juneteenth 2022
Only the C-Swift Shuttle and LaSalle Loop routes will operate on June 20
Duke will adjust parking and transit routes for the Juneteenth holiday on June 20.
Only the C-SWS: C-Swift Shuttle and LaSalle Loop bus routes will operate on June 20. Each route will have one bus running from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. No other routes will have service and Duke Vans will not operate on June 20. All routes resume regular summer schedules on June 21.
Parking garages and surface lots will operate under weekend access rules for employee and student motorists on Juneteenth. Parking Garage 1, Parking Garage 2, Parking Garage 3, Parking Garage 4, Research Drive Garage, Science Drive Garage and most surface lots may be used on Juneteenth without charge with a valid Duke permit. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.
In addition, the Parking and Transportation Services offices at Science Drive Garage and Duke Clinic will be closed on June 20 in observance of the holiday.
