Direct Impact: NIH Funding and the Duke Superfund Research Center
The Duke Superfund Research Center is supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), and focuses on early, low-dose exposures to environmental contaminants and their developmental impacts, changes usually only evident later in life. Heather Stapleton and Richard Di Giulio discuss the center at Duke and the research impacts it created with the help of NIEHS’ support.
This is part of a series of short videos exploring how federally funded research at Duke is leading to discoveries that can benefit society.
