Tell Us About Your First Job

Working@Duke’s Jack Frederick and Leanora Minai both worked at McDonald’s for their first real jobs. And in high school and college, senior writer Stephen Schramm worked at an area country club, cooking on a flat grill and mopping floors.

“By being consistent in the details, such as keeping a kitchen clean or ensuring you have all of the supplies and ingredients you need, you’ll be well-positioned to handle whatever comes your way,” Schramm said.
