A Duke Workday: Mansa Chennuri Watches Over the Electrical Grid

In this video, watch how Mansa Chennuri keeps power operational

Whether from her home office, the high-voltage shop or on a construction site, Mansa Chennuri keeps power systems operational across Duke.

Chennuri, an electrical engineer for Duke Facilities Management, helps plan how to power new buildings with electricity, works on electrical issues at University and Health System facilities and coordinates upgrades.

“My role is to oversee how we supply power to Duke that is resilient and reliable,“ said Chennuri, who has worked at Duke since March of 2020. “The goal is to keep the power on.”
