Transit and Parking Adjustments for 2021 July Fourth Holiday
Duke Vans will not operate on July 5
Duke will adjust transit routes and parking availability for the Independence Day holiday on July 5.
The C1 and LL will offer limited summer holiday service on July 5, operating one bus on each route:
- C1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- LL from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Duke Vans will not operate on July 5.
Parking garages and surface lots will operate under weekend access rules for employee and student motorists on July 5. Parking Garage 1, Parking Garage 2, Parking Garage 3, Parking Garage 4, Research Drive Garage, Science Drive Garage and most surface lots may be used on July 5 without charge with a valid Duke permit. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.
In addition, the Parking and Transportation Services offices at Science Drive Garage and Duke Clinic will be closed on July 5 in observance of the holiday.
