Wearing a face mask is among the ways we can reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community and save lives.

Everyone at Duke is committed to wearing a face covering to keep people near us safe. It is required at all Duke Health facilities and in all public spaces on the university campus.

And while we’re all doing our part, we’d love for Duke staff and faculty to share why wearing a face mask is important.

Send us one photograph or a 15 second or less video clip of you in your mask and share why wearing the mask or face covering is important to you.

We’ll give away a “Duke Standing Together 6 Feet Apart” T-shirt, courtesy of Duke University Stores, to three staff and faculty members with the best picture or video clip illustrating why they wear a mask.

Upload your picture or video before Sept. 4 here.
