President Price Statement on DACA Decision

Duke President Vincent E. Price released the following statement today after the Supreme Court decision upholding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program:

"We are very pleased with the Supreme Court’s decision today to affirm the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. The DACA community at Duke—students, faculty, and staff—makes so many vital contributions to our university every day, engaging in research, saving lives, and serving our neighbors in Durham and the region. These exceptional Americans, and their families, can now do so with confidence and security about their future."
