Expect Heavy Game Day Traffic on Campus Saturday

Fans attending Duke-Notre Dame football game are encouraged to leave early, carpool or use ride-share services

Traffic and Parking Alert for Saturday

Duke community members will experience heavy traffic on and around campus Saturday afternoon and evening for the Duke vs. Notre Dame football game in Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff, and fans are encouraged to leave early, carpool or use ride-sharing services because of limited parking available on campus during this capacity crowd event.

Duke has arranged for a special drop-off and pick-up area outside the Powers Gate entrance to the stadium on Frank Bassett Drive for ride-sharing services such as Lyft and Uber. Lyft is offering a limited $5 discount for rides to and from the stadium for the first 2,000 riders for a $10 savings on the round trip. Attendees can use the code “DUKEFOOTBALL” when requesting a ride with the Lyft app. The discount is only valid from Nov. 9 through 1 a.m. Nov. 10 to and from Wallace Wade Stadium.

Parking staff members will be on-hand to direct vehicles to available parking area as lots reach capacity.
