Duke staff and faculty can cheer on the Blue Devils for free on September 7 when Duke Football welcomes North Carolina A&T to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. The game kicks off at 6 p.m.

Benefit-eligible employees can order up to four free tickets at no charge as part of the Employee Kickoff Celebration. Up to four additional tickets may be purchased for $5 each. A game ticket is required for stadium entry for any fan age 3 and older.

The deadline for employees to order their free tickets is 5 p.m. August 30.

"Each year, we look forward to hosting the Duke Football Employee Kickoff Celebration because of the value we place on our relationship with the Duke community,” said Duke football coach David Cutcliffe. “This initiative is one way we’re able to say thank you to the countless number of people who play a role in supporting Duke Football.”

A pregame celebration for Duke employees will take place inside the stadium featuring face-painting, interactive kid-friendly activities and music. Gates open for employees and fans at 4:30 p.m. The pregame celebration will last until kickoff, though the inflatable attractions will close at 5:15 p.m.

Benefits-eligible Duke staff and faculty can print out their tickets in advance after ordering them online. For each ticket reserved, staff and faculty can reserve a voucher for a meal at selected Blue Devil Concessions stands that can also be printed in advance.

For those without online access or a printer, tickets and concession vouchers can be picked up at the Duke Athletics ticket window at the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.) Monday through Friday, or on game day up until halftime. Employees must present their DukeID to pick up tickets.

Employee ticket orders end at 5 p.m. on August 30. After that time, staff and faculty will have to buy tickets at full price through the Duke Athletic Ticket Office.

HOW CONCESSION VOUCHERS WORK

Faculty and staff can receive one voucher per ticket (maximum of 8) for a meal redeemable at selected Blue Devil Concessions stands.

Each voucher is redeemable for a bag of potato chips, a fountain drink and one of these three options:

  • Hot Dog
  • Veggie Burger
  • Barbecue Sandwich

Concession vouchers will be included with online ticket orders, or they can be picked up the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center with reserved tickets.

Concession vouchers are only valid until halftime. Vouchers must be redeemed at one time, and no substituting of meal options is allowed.

WHERE TO PARK

Parking is free on game day in general public parking lots:

BAG POLICY AND SAFETY PROTOCOL

In order to keep with security protocol, bags or purses of any kind (including but not limited to backpacks, duffel bags, tote bags, fanny packs, clear bags, drawstring/cinch bags, messenger bags, plastic grocery bags, camera bags, binocular bags, etc.) are not permitted to enter Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium on football game days.

Use this guide to avoid a return trip to your vehicle on game day.

Also, there is no stadium re-entry once a ticket has been scanned for entry at the stadium gates. This means if you leave the stadium during the employee celebration, you will not be able to re-enter the stadium.
