Section of Towerview Road to Close for Summer 2018
Utility work to close road from May 16 until August 17
Starting May 16, utility work will close Towerview Road on West Campus to traffic in both directions between Duke University Road and the traffic circle at Wannamaker Drive.
The road will reopen on August 17.
The road will be closed in order for utility services to be extended to the 265,000 square-foot Hollows Residence Hall which is being built along Towerview Road. The residence hall is expected to open in the summer of 2019.
Towerview Road from Erwin Drive to the traffic circle at Wannamaker Drive will remain open.
Signs will be posted to assist drivers.
