Part of the Said@Duke 2017-2018 Series
Nikki Haley: I speak for the US and for the American people

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley delivered the Terry Sanford Distinguished Lecture on April 5, titled “Confronting Today’s Global Governance Challenges.” Haley serves as a member of President Trump’s Cabinet and the National Security Council. Haley also served as governor of South Carolina from 2010 to 2016. The Terry Sanford Distinguished Lecture is made possible by support from the William R. Kenan Charitable Trust, and is presented by the Sanford School of Public Policy and the Program in American Grand Strategy. This event is part of the year-long centennial celebration of the late Terry Sanford, Duke’s president from 1970-1985.
