Said@Duke: William R. Polk on the Past as Current History

Veteran foreign policy consultant and author William R. Polk discussed his new book, “Crusade and Jihad: The Thousand-Year War Between the Muslim World and the Global North,” on Feb. 8. The book offers insight into the centuries of conflict between the Muslim world and Global North and their impact on current conflicts. The event was sponsored by the Center for Slavic, Eurasian and East European Studies (CSEEES).
