Said@Duke: Milbry Polk on the Historical Invisibility of Women

Author Milbry Polk discussed her book, Women of Discovery, on Feb. 9. The book explores the accomplishments of female visionaries, adventurers, artists, and scientists, who, despite their extraordinary achievements, have remained virtually unknown. The event was sponsored by the Center for Slavic, Eurasian and East European Studies (CSEEES).
