A Snow Day at Duke, Larger Than Expected

Yesterday's mid-day forecasts were for 1 to 3 inches. The Duke campus got a lot more than that. The campus went into its Severe Weather Policy and cancelled classes Wednesday. A decision about Thursday morning should be made later Wednesday evening.
In the meantime, students made great use of the campus turned winter wonderland. Duke Photographer Jared Lazarus captured some scenes:
