UC Berkeley Professor Ian Haney Lopez offered a historical perspective on the use of coded racism in the 2016 presidential campaign. The talk, a Robert R. Wilson Distinguished Lecture called “Dog Whistle Politics: Race, Policy and Economic Inequality,” took place on March 2.
