David Sherwood Named to Lead Embryology Course at MBL
Six week course in Woods Hole is world famous
David Sherwood, an associate professor of biology and co-director of the Regeneration Next Initiative, has been appointed a co-director for the embryology course at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole, Mass. He will help lead a six-week summer program at the lab for the next five years. “The course was founded in 1893 and has been going strong for over 120 years—through wars, the depression, etc.,” Sherwood said. “It is the oldest lab course in the United States and is world renowned. Well over half of the students are from other countries.”
