Research on gut microbes and intestinal tumor formation
Gianna Hammer, an assistant professor of immunology in the School of Medicine, has been awarded a 2016 V Scholar Award from the Cary-based V Foundation for Cancer Research, which continues the work of former NC State basketball coach Jim Valvano.
