From Star Wars characters wielding The Force to super villains and zombified corpses, voting is open to find the favorite submissions in Working@Duke’s annual Blue Devil Halloween photo contest.
All photos are posted to an album on Working@Duke’s Facebook page, where the most “likes” on pictures will determine the winners. There is no limit to how many images a voter can like, but voters must have a Facebook account to participate. Voting ends at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to also leave comments under the photos to share support for unique costumes. To view each photo full-screen for caption information and to comment, click an image in the album.
Winners will be announced on Facebook and Duke Today on Nov. 6. The photo with the most “likes” will receive the grand prize – the winning photo on a coffee mug or mouse pad. Judges will award bags of chocolate candy for the spookiest and most original photos.
To be eligible to enter the contest, Duke employees or departments must have taken the photos during this current Halloween season, they must be work- or Duke-related and submitted using the contest’s online form.
