The deadline for staff and faculty to complete new training aimed at recognizing and preventing harassment is March 19.

"Completing this training is one step that each of us takes to broaden our awareness regarding appropriate conduct and to support the culture of respect we strive for at Duke."
All staff and faculty are expected to complete the online training as part of Duke's commitment to an inclusive and respectful community, as well as for compliance with federal regulations. The training covers Duke's policy on harassment, including examples of prohibited conduct. It also provides information about resources for those with concerns about possible harassment.
There are separate offerings - one for managers and one for staff - that have been assigned to individuals in the Learning Management System based on their role at Duke.
Employees who have not completed the training by March 19 will receive an email from the Learning Management System reminding them that they are out of compliance with the training requirement.
