Richardsons receive regional ACS award

The North Carolina Section of the American Chemical Society has honored Jane and David Richardson with its annual Distinguished Speaker Award.

The award recognizes the Richardsons for their seminal contributions to the structure determination and visualization of macromolecules and the iconic status of the "Ribbon Diagram."

The scientists were honored Nov. 14 at the opening of the Southeast Regional Meeting of the ACS.
