Sit In Comfort With Duke Stadium Seats
Cushioned seats available for rent at Wallace Wade Stadium
For about 20 years, Bill Taub has sat in the stands of Wallace Wade Stadium cheering on Duke's football team. The only problem for him is for the last few years, he's been doing an equal amount of standing away from his seats in section 25.
Because Taub deals with back issues, he has a tough time sitting on the aluminum bleachers of Wallace Wade. Lucky for him, he's found a solution in Duke Stadium Seats - cushioned seating with back support that's installed for him at his assigned seats.

Along with Taub, Duke faculty and staff can now order Duke Stadium Seats made of Duke-blue, water-resistant vinyl with padding on the back and bottom on a steel frame. Blue Devil fans can rent a seat for a one-time cost of $35 each before Aug. 1 and $40 after that date. Proceeds from seat rentals support Duke Athletics.
The seats are provided by IMG College Seating, which sells the same style seating for other Atlantic Coast Conference schools such as Florida State University, Georgia Tech and University of Virginia.
When the Blue Devils kick-off against the University of Richmond on Sept. 3, Kathy Agusta will be cheering from the comfort of her Duke Stadium Seat. Agusta bought a pair of seats two years ago as a surprise for husband, Joe.
"The seats are much more comfortable than sitting on the bleachers," said Agusta, a departmental business manager in the Global Education Office for Undergraduates. "They also help us show our support for the Blue Devils."
Blue Devil fans can order a seat online or by the phone. After providing a section, row and seat number, a royal blue seat with a Duke football logo will be permanently placed in the specified bleacher seat for the season. Order a stadium seat at DukeSeats.com or call (800) 510-5614.
