Duke in Pictures: Hunting for Easter Eggs

Duke students getting a running start in a race to find Easter eggs Sunday during Osterfest, a German tradition to celebrate the arrival of Easter and spring.

The festival included games, snacks and drinks in front of Old Chemistry Building.

It was one of two egg hunts held on campus this weekend.

Local children and children of Duke faculty and students also were invited to a second Easter egg hunt Saturday sponsored by the Kilgo Quad Council.

Pictured below, Albert Karcher, a Duke junior public policy major, left, takes part in an Easter egg hunt during Osterfest. Maite Ruhard, an art history masters student, center, and Andreas Weinseiss, a political science masters student, also help hide eggs.
