Registration Open for Paralegal Certificate Program

Registration is under way for the Duke University Paralegal Certificate Program, which begins Feb. 16 in Durham and Feb. 23 in Charlotte.

The comprehensive program offers students the opportunity to pursue a new career or enhance an existing one in less than six months. The program is offered twice a year in Durham and Charlotte in a 20-week evening and weekend format, and as a six-week intensive program beginning in May. The paralegal certificate is also offered as an online course of study.

Students who earn a post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies are eligible for the North Carolina State Bar exam for paralegal certification. More than 420 students have completed the Duke Paralegal Classroom Program since 2003.
