Volunteers Needed for Asthma Walk

More than 50 team captains attended a luncheon kick-off for the 2007 Asthma

Blow the Whistle on Asthma Walk on Aug. 24 hosted by Bill Fulkerson, M.D., CEO of Duke Hospital.

Volunteers are still needed to participate on teams during the walk that will raise money and awareness for the American Lung Association of North Carolina for education, research and advocacy to fight asthma and other pulmonary diseases.

The sixth annual walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, on the Centennial Campus of N.C. State University in Raleigh.
