“As hard as it can sometimes feel to take time off from work, it's the best way to recharge, recalibrate and return to work with fresh eyes,” said Riggio, an art editor with Duke University Press. “It's also an awesome excuse to seek out new adventures!”

She shared this image as part of the #DukeTimeOff campaign, which highlights ways Duke employees use time off work. Duke staff and faculty have until Aug. 12 to submit photos of their vacations, passions and adventures away from the office. To be eligible for prizes, photos must be taken between May 27, 2016 and Aug. 12, 2016.

Prizes are awarded every week by the Working@Duke editorial team. About 140 photos have been shared through the Working@Duke Facebook and Twitter pages, on Instagram, or through an online form. Find the full contest details in this Duke Today story.

The next winner (of a Duke beach chair) will be announced the week of Aug. 1.
