Duke in Pictures: Peace Corps Vets Ride the 'Peace Car'

peace car

Several former Peace Corps volunteers at Duke on Wednesday evening greeted a "peace car" that visited the campus as part of a regional tour to recruit new volunteers. The car is one of four Peace Corps vehicles travelling the country recruiting volunteers for the Corps. Duke is traditionally one of the largest contributors of Peace Corps volunteers among medium-sized colleges. In addition, Duke's graduate and professional schools are also a leading enroller of returning Peace Corps vets.

For more on the car's visit, see this Duke Chronicle story.
