Season tickets for the 2014 Blue Devil football season are now on sale and as usual, Duke faculty and staff can purchase seats at Wallace Wade Stadium for drastically discounted rates.

At $110 per season ticket, Duke employees get more than half off the normal season ticket price of $250.

Jennifer Frazier, a human resources specialist with the Human Resources Information Center, purchased season tickets for the first time in 2013.

"I had a really good time last year with a good crowd and I got to meet new people," she said. "It was a great value because you can't beat the price for seven home games. Seven good games, at that."

In 2014, Duke will have seven home games, which include matchups with conference rivals like Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Duke and UNC will play at Wallace Wade in a special Thursday night game Nov. 20. The first game of the season is Aug. 30 against Elon University.

All reserved employee seats are in sections 3 to 10, which span the middle of the Wallace Wade field between each side’s 20-yard line. New this year is the inclusion of blue stadium chairback seats for all employee season ticket holders.

Quarterback Anthony Boone will return to lead the Blue Devils offense, which averaged nearly 32 points per game last year, a number that jumped to 39 points per game in home contests. Along with All-American Jamison Crowder, Duke will also bring in a regarded recruiting class.

Faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets by calling (919) 681-2583 or visiting the Duke Athletics Ticket Office in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
