Bryant Elected President of American Mathematical Society

The American Mathematial Society has announced the election of Duke professor Robert Bryant as its president for a two-year term beginning in 2015. Bryant, a native of North Carolina, has taught and worked at Duke for over 25 years, where he serves as the Philip Griffiths professor of mathematics and specializes in differential geometry and mathematical physics.
