#StandWithNina: Duke Stands with Miss America
Duke students support Miss America and oppose racism toward her Indian ethnicity
This past weekend, Nina Davuluri became the first Indian American to be crowned Miss America. Yet on this historical day, Davuluri received racist, xenophobic, and islamaphobic reactions. Duke students, led by Jacob Tobia, made a Youtube video, supporting Nina and taking a stand against the hateful remarks.
