As a birthday present, he decided to leave the Lemur Center for a stroll through a leafy Durham neighborhood. Avior was recovered later that afternoon when a local homeowner successfully trapped the lemur in his garage and called the Duke Lemur Center. Avior was a little scared but healthy and unharmed thankfully.
