Beverly Hilliard, a former Duke Temporary Service employee, died July 22.  Hilliard worked at Duke in 2001.

Annie D. Lewis, a former employee in the Heart and Emergency Nursing department, died July 20.  Lewis worked at Duke from 1974 to 1994.

Nannie Choates-Johnson, a  nurse on 6100 and 6300 at Duke North Hospital, died July 19, 2012. Mrs. Choates-Johnson was an employee at Duke from 1959 until her retirement in 2001. She returned to sit with patients at Duke until her health began to decline in 2007.

Catherine Kernodle, an Infectious Disease department employee, died July 16.  Kernodle worked at Duke since 1990.

Johnnie L. Harrell, a former Environmental Services employee, died July 5.  Harrell worked at Duke from 1970 to 2000.

Ave Royster, a former Tele/Video Communications employee, died July 4.  Royster worked at Duke from 1994 to 2009.

Frank Cannady, a former Research Park employee, died July 2.  Cannady worked at Duke from 1992 until 2012.
