Trinity Dean Laurie Patton discussed with students Thurs. what inspires them

print |

On Thursday, Feb. 21, Dean Laurie Patton held a follow-up conversation with the Service-Learning Program to examine the notions of integrative learning and connected knowing in a liberal arts context. She challenged the audience to find your question -- something that drives and inspires you, something you are perpetually exploring. Her charge to those in attendance was this: "If you don't have an answer to what is your question?, you need to work on that this year... because every single one of you has one."  Students, faculty, alumni, and others were invited to join the Service-Learning Program and the student group LEAPS (Learning through Experience, Action, Partnership, and Service) for a second conversation and workshop on finding your inspiration.
