If you saw groups of young students walking around campus wearing Duke blue backpacks last week, it's likely they were prospective members of the Class of 2016.  More than 1,100 students who have been offered admission to Duke are visiting campus this month for three sessions of Blue Devil Days, a series of two-day recruitment programs for admitted students and their families.

During their stay on campus, students attended classes, met faculty and current students and attended a number of programs and events about academic and student life at Duke.

A special arts and humanities reception was held on April 9 at the Nasher Museum of Art and a Latino Student Recruitment Weekend took place concurrently with Blue Devil Days on April 12-14.

Admitted students have until May 1 to notify undergraduate admissions of their college decision.
