Phone Issues Impact Duke Police Number
Duke community should call 911 if need police assistance
[Update: This matter was resolved early morning, April 1].
Duke has been experiencing inbound call failures from its local service provider this evening. Internal calls made from a campus phone to another campus phone are not affected; however, external calls to the main Duke Police phone number (919-684-2444) are not currently going through. This outage also includes the emergency blue light phones on East and West Campus; Central Campus emergency blue light phones are functioning properly. Anyone experiencing an emergency on Duke's campus this evening or needing police assistance should call 911. Additional updates will be posted on Duke Today when available.
