Dozens of Bhutanese families who moved recently to North Carolina joined members of the Duke community Monday evening for the opening of a photo exhibit about their experiences as refugees. Duke students shot most of the photos this past summer while working with Bhutanese families living in refugee camps in Nepal. Organized by the Bhutanese Resettlement Project, the exhibit runs through December at the Kenan Institute for Ethics in the West Duke building on East Campus.
