Officials Monitoring Forecast for Snow

Duke officials are monitoring weather forecasts, which currently project rain and snow showers this afternoon and evening.

Less than half an inch of accumulation is expected during the afternoon, and plans are underway to address the treatment or clearing of icy roads or walkways that develop overnight.

Duke is currently planning to remain on a normal schedule today and Thursday. Any changes to this plan will be communicated through the DukeALERT notification system, including updates on emergency.duke.edu, the 684-INFO phone line, email and text message. Members of the Duke community must register their mobile device to receive DukeALERT text messages.
