Expect heavy traffic around West Campus this week as high school graduation ceremonies for Durham Public Schools will be held at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13.
While no roads will be closed for the six graduation ceremonies on campus, Duke students, staff, and faculty with West Campus parking permits will still have regular access to their usual parking areas. However, community members should expect detours and delays, especially near the Blue Zone and Science Drive Garage, where traffic will be heaviest.
Graduation traffic directed to park in the Blue Zone will enter through Duke University Drive. Blue Zone parking permit holders should use Towerview Road to access the Blue Zone.
