Said@Duke: Melissa Siegel on Key Linkages Between Migration and Development
Melissa Siegel, a professor of migration studies at Maastricht University and the United Nations University-MERIT in the Netherlands, recently spoke at Duke about the many ways in which migration and development are interlinked, and how not being able to migrate can also have consequences for development. Siegel focused on her current work from a large research project conducted across 26 research areas in 10 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
This event was organized by the John Hope Franklin Center, Duke Center for International Development (DCID), Office of Global Affairs, and Sanford School of Public Policy.
